Job summary

RCL - Reitmans Canada Limited invites applications for a Senior Designer, Fabric & Concept for the PENN.Penningtons brand. The role focuses on shaping material strategy by integrating concept, fabric, color and product.

You will be the material expert, connecting design with sourcing and production to unlock new possibilities while aligning with the brand DNA and seasonal storytelling.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Fashion Design or related field.
• 8+ years of fashion design experience with fabrics, textiles and apparel development.
• Strong fashion instinct and understanding of fit and silhouette.
• Bilingual in French and English with strong communication skills.
• Curious, collaborative, and forward-thinking.

Responsibilities

• Define the Material Vision across fabrics, yarns, trims and textures.
• Lead material partnerships with Global Sourcing and cross-functional teams.
• Translate research into seasonal concepts and product development.
• Present clear design directions and material strategies to stakeholders.
