Join to apply for the Senior Designer (6 month FTC) role at DEPT

This is a 6 month fixed term employee contract initially, with a likelihood of extension.

This role is part of our Personalized Creative team. We create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products, and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is hyper-personalized digital communications that change perceptions, shape new behaviors, and shift market share for clients including eBay, Ancestry, Walmart, and more!

JOB PURPOSE:

As Senior Designer, you will work on a broad range of projects for some of the largest, well-recognized brands in the world. You will oversee and mentor junior team members, work independently on briefs, and contribute to creative outputs that meet client goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee and mentor junior and midweight designers.
  • Deliver constructive feedback and support team development.
  • Manage projects from concept to completion, including image sourcing, artworking, and designing responsive emails, landing pages, social ads, and marketing templates.
  • Develop visual content for newsletters and adhoc projects.
  • Research trends, ensure brand integrity, and contribute innovative ideas.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.
  • Support DEPT as an employer of choice and participate in interviewing processes.
SKILLS AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:
  • 3-5 years of digital design experience, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite.
  • Strong layout, typesetting, retouching skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Desire to learn new skills and take on challenges.
