Senior Design Manager (Infrastructure & Land Development)

Dubai, UAE

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Manager to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will oversee and manage the design aspects of various projects, ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Review work produced to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and procedures, and to ensure quality is acceptable.
• Monitor productivity and technical proficiency of assigned personnel, making staffing assignments and reassignments as project needs arise.
• Conduct performance evaluations, take corrective actions as necessary, recommend promotions and salary actions, and suggest training and development for assigned personnel.
• Help define discipline design organization and participation on a project, including scope of work, design criteria, schedules, standards, and procedures.
• Determine budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule.
• Supervise the production of project drawings and design calculations.
• Promote technical excellence on the project, including furthering the Quality Improvement Process.
• Ensure that discipline design work is coordinated with project staff and engineers from other disciplines by maintaining clear and frequent communication.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 15+ years of design experience in Roads, Infrastructure and Land development projects.
• Professional Engineer registration or Chartered Engineering membership is desirable.

• Proven ability to perform in a supervisory capacity, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
