Job summary

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree in engineering and six years of work experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of applicable local, provincial, and national guidelines in engineering.

Responsibilities

• Apply Cost Competitive Execution techniques to develop cost-effective total project solutions.
• Develop and review specifications, including design criteria.
• Participate in equipment, procurement, permitting, and subcontracting activities.
• Assign work to teams, monitor and manage the work.
• Perform and check calculations, specify equipment, and solve moderately complex engineering problems.
• Review vendor equipment documentation for compliance and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems.
• Other duties as assigned.
