Role Overview:

As a Delivery Lead, you will manage the evolution of cloud products, roadmaps, business engagement, budgets, project schedules, risks, issues, reporting, and governance of projects and production support activities. You will ensure the successful delivery of software solutions within Canadian Digital Banking by leading and supporting agile scrum teams (Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics), and identifying, escalating, and resolving release and team impediments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the delivery of complex projects across multiple cross-functional teams.
2. Manage cost estimation, project scheduling, and budgeting processes.
3. Track and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and key decisions.
4. Mitigate risks and unblock teams to ensure effective work completion.
5. Communicate with stakeholders and executives, resolve conflicts, negotiate, and build relationships.
6. Provide standardized reports on team performance, velocity, completed stories, and project status.
7. Maintain product quality by identifying and eliminating technical debt.
8. Coordinate compliance and operational readiness procedures with related teams.
9. Lead and support agile scrum teams.
10. Resolve production issues and deploy bug fixes.
11. Assist in architectural solutions, roadmaps, and strategies aligned with enterprise standards for software modernization.
12. Assess and analyze business strategies, technical environments, and technology options to evaluate solutions.
13. Collaborate with multiple teams across the bank on strategy and direction.
14. Support senior management with roadmaps, resource planning, and team coordination.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong technical curiosity and knowledge.
• Proven experience delivering complex IT projects using agile methodologies.
• Understanding of technology concepts, software development practices, tools, and methodologies.
• Knowledge of release and change management processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Creative, self-starting, results-oriented, and highly motivated.
• Attention to detail and high standards for quality.
• Familiarity with cloud applications and main public cloud platforms (Google Cloud, Azure).
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to build relationships with various stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience in modernizing legacy systems or transformational initiatives is preferred.
• 3+ years of full-stack software engineering experience with object-oriented and scripting languages.
• Banking/financial industry experience (3-5 years) is an asset.
