Senior Delivery Consultant (Network - Cisco ACI) – Canada

The Delivery Consultant is a key member of the Canadian Professional Services Delivery team. The Consultant works closely with local Sales and Delivery teams to plan, design and implement various industry-recognized network and security solutions for clients using a mix of technologies:

1. Expert in Software Defined Networking (Cisco ACI)
2. Expert in Routing, Switching, wireless and Data Centre (Cisco, HP, Aruba, Fortinet, etc)
3. Skilled in Cisco Nexus switching, Catalyst switching
4. Other technology areas considered an asset include:
1. Software Defined WAN (Cisco Viptela, Vmware VeloCloud)
2. Cisco DNA (Automation/Assurance and SDA)
3. Cloud Network Architecture for Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google, etc)
4. Cloud Security for Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google, etc)

In this role, you will:

1. Assist in scoping activities for the development of customer statements of work
2. Play a role in technology assessments and discovery
3. Design, develop and implement proposed solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:

1. Overall 5+ years’ experience with proven history in consulting and/or professional services industry with a particular strong background encompassing network and security.
2. Strong English communication skills – both written and spoken are essential.
3. Strong capability in technical writing for customer proposals, documentation or solution summaries.
4. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with effectiveness in customer-facing roles.
5. Strong presentation technical skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with account teams and partner organizations.
6. Focus on delivery with strong client-facing abilities/background.
7. Assessment, discovery, and delivery experience is essential.
8. Experience in any of the following:
1. Cisco Catalyst 3700 series, 3600 series, 3500 series and 2900 series switches.
2. Cisco Meraki Full Stack
3. Aruba CX Series switching
4. Aruba Wireless
5. Cisco ACI or VMware NSX
6. VMware servers ESXi 5.x and 6.x with VMware VSphere Client
7. Wireless access controllers and access points, network access control systems, enforcing network security for wired, wireless.
8. Cloud based wireless solutions.
9. Cisco Identify Services Engine (ISE) for both wired and wireless deployments with integration with Software Defined Networking and MDM
9. Understanding of OSPF, BGP, & EIGRP Routing Protocols, DNS, DHCP and IP Address Management (including IPV6).
10. Compelling communication skills across a wide variety of mediums and situations - including written and verbal communication and in presentations spanning formal and informal, from small to large audience.

Required Travel – Approximately 15% - 20% annually within Canada where no travel restrictions in place.

Ability to produce proof of vaccination for Covid-19 due to customer onsite requirements.

Education Background:

1. BSc in Computer Science or related discipline, or 3 year Technologist Diploma or equivalent
2. Combination of certifications with the following technologies would be an asset:
1. Cisco: CCNA/DA, CCNP/DP
2. Cisco CCIE Data Centre or Security considered an Asset
3. CISSP
