Job summary

WSP is seeking a senior professional to lead defence and federal infrastructure projects in Canada, including bases, armories, and facilities. You will guide multidisciplinary teams through design, build, and handover, ensuring scope, schedule, and budgets align with program goals.

The role demands 7+ years of project delivery experience on complex infrastructure, experience with DCC or federal clients, and the ability to obtain security clearance. bilingualism is an asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/architecture/construction management.
• 7+ years in progressive project delivery on defence/federal infra.
• Experience with maritime/shipyard projects is required.
• Experience with Defence Construction Canada (DCC) or federal clients; alternative delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Lead defence and federal infrastructure projects from planning and procurement through design, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
• Establish project execution plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, governance, and risk controls that support reliable delivery.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams while ensuring scope, cost, schedule, quality and risk management.
• Partner with clients, DCC, contractors and regulators to align decisions and resolve delivery challenges.
• Oversee security, regulatory compliance, QA and safety for defence facilities.
• Strengthen client relationships and contribute to account planning, pursuits and proposals.
