Position: Senior DBA Developer/Admin

Location: Halifax, NS (5 days onsite)

Job Description:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in database development and administration.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with ETL processes, data warehousing, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of database security, replication, and high availability.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL) is preferred.
