Job summary

Agropur Cooperative in Saint-Hubert, QC, seeks a Senior Database and Middleware Analyst to own provisioning, configuration, operation, and maintenance of relational databases across on-premises, virtual, and cloud environments.

You will lead critical incidents, optimize Oracle, SQL Server, and Oracle E-Business Suite, ensure backup/DR/HA, mentor teammates, and drive automation while collaborating with vendors and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 7–10 years of database administration, IT infrastructure, or ERP experience.
• Strong expertise in Oracle Database, Oracle E-Business Suite, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with backup/recovery, disaster recovery, high availability, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of UNIX, Linux, and AIX; automation/scripting tools such as PowerShell, Bash, PL/SQL, or T-SQL.
• Experience with ERP platforms, particularly Oracle E-Business Suite and SAP.
• OCI experience is an asset.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

• Serve as the go-to expert for database services and incident resolution.
• Manage, optimize, and enhance Oracle, SQL Server, and Oracle E-Business Suite environments across on‑premises and cloud infrastructures.

Reporting to the IT Operations Manager (Systems), the Senior Database and Middleware Analyst is responsible for the provisioning, configuration, operation, and maintenance of relational database management systems and related infrastructure components.
