The role requires hands‑on expertise with GoldenGate, automation tools, and CI/CD pipelines, plus a commitment to incident management, on‑call rotation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise database administration experience.
• Strong experience with Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with cloud databases, including AWS RDS.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, Ansible or PowerShell).
• Knowledge of backup, recovery, HA/DR and patching processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administration and support for Oracle, SQL Server, and AWS RDS databases.
• Monitor health, performance, and availability to meet SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident resolution.
• Support deployment, upgrades, and platform lifecycle management.
