About The Role

The Senior Data Scientist III contributes to new product development by proposing data-driven solutions for complex customer challenges. They use advanced analytical techniques, become subject matter experts, collaborate with data scientists and engineers to design AI solutions, lead AI and machine learning model development, analyze large datasets, and guide junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Work with data scientists and engineers to design, develop, and deploy AI solutions.
• Lead the development of advanced AI and machine learning models for complex business problems.
• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and inform AI development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI solutions with business goals.
• Lead automation and lifecycle management of data systems.
• Mentor junior data scientists and share best practices in AI and machine learning.
• Design APIs to disseminate data science outputs to business units.
• Oversee scaling of production systems to meet demand.

Requirements

• Advanced or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• Experience with large language models and transformer architectures like BERT, RoBERTa, T5.
• Proficiency with big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, or AWS.
• Experience with LLMs including ChatGPT, GPT 3.5, Claude, Mistral.
• Strong problem-solving skills, leadership, and collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency in machine learning algorithms, including deep learning, gradient boosting, and random forests.
• Advanced programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.
