Clutch is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to shape the future of our financial services at one of Canada's fastest-growing auto retailers. You will own analysis from pre-qualification to purchase, building models and experiments that improve how customers understand affordability and move from browsing to buying.

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or analytical role.
• Decision modeling experience shaping real outcomes.
• Analysis first with SQL and Python, able to tame messy data.
• Statistical rigor with experimentation and validation.
• Customer mindset and clear business communication.

Responsibilities

• Define the data science roadmap for our financial services.
• Analyze buyer journey and financing funnel data to improve experience.
• Build models powering a financing-first shopping experience.
• Predict financing intent from on-site behavior to guide content.
• Own end-to-end pre-qualification and analyze drop-off points.
• Model how down payment, trade-in value, and term choices shape decisions.
• Design experiments to test financing presentation across the site.
• Quantify financing impact on conversion and order value.
