Placements24 is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join the Kimberley analytics team. You will build predictive models, analyze large datasets, and translate insights into business actions within the banking sector.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist in banking/financial services.
• Expertise in programming languages such as Python or R and associated data science libraries.
• Proficiency with SQL and experience working with large datasets and databases.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for effectively conveying complex results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement machine learning models for predictive analytics, classification, and clustering.
• Analyze large, complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
• Design and execute A/B tests and experiments to validate hypotheses and measure impact.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define analytical requirements and translate business problems into data science solutions.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly through visualizations and presentations.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the team's technical knowledge base.
