We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist for our client. This is a permanent, fully remote position. Our client is a fintech company based in Vancouver.

Responsibilities include:

• Utilizing R (purrr, tidyr, dplyr, tibble, & the tidyverse) for data science and engineering tasks.
• Working with unstructured data sets to extract insights.
• Managing relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) and non-relational databases (including MongoDB).
• Using big data services like Spark, Kafka, RabbitMQ.
• Collaborating with startup environments (considered a bonus).
• Working with cloud services, specifically AWS (considered a bonus).
