In this role you’ll leverage advanced analytics and machine learning to drive strategic decisions and enhance our product offerings. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams you’ll transform complex data into actionable insights directly influencing Fullscript’s growth and the success of our practitioners and their patients.

What You’ll Do

• Advanced Analytics & Modelling: Develop and implement sophisticated statistical models and machine learning algorithms to analyze large datasets, uncover trends, and predict future behaviors.
• Experimentation & Causal Inference: Design, conduct, and analyze A/B tests and other experiments to evaluate the impact of product changes and new features.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to identify data-driven opportunities and influence product and business strategies.
• Data Pipeline Development: Work alongside Analytic Engineers to design and optimize data pipelines, ensuring efficient data collection, processing, and availability.
• Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
• Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.

What You Bring

• 5 years of experience in data science, preferably in product-led high-growth environments (SaaS or eCommerce a bonus).
• Analytical Expertise: Strong foundation in experimental design, causal inference, and statistical analysis.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to tackle ambiguous problems, identify key insights, and drive actionable recommendations.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Curiosity and humility: You’re excited to learn and even more excited to teach.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in SQL and programming languages like Python or R.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g. scikit-learn, XGBoost or similar) and statistical modeling techniques.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.

Bonus Points You Have

• Industry Experience: Background in health tech, integrative medicine, or related fields.
• Tool Proficiency: Experience with BI tools like Looker or Tableau and familiarity with cloud platforms such as Snowflake or AWS.
• Advanced Techniques: Knowledge of deep learning, natural language processing, or other advanced ML methodologies.
