Summary: We are seeking a technical and skilled Senior Data Migration Specialist to bring value, energy, and expertise to our team. You should have strong technical skills, customer experience mastery, and a passion for building tools, troubleshooting, and understanding customer needs to exceed expectations.

This role is available in Burnaby, Calgary, or Toronto.

What your team does: The Data Migrations team at Clio, part of our Customer Success Department, specializes in migrating customer data from legacy systems into Clio. This involves exporting, importing, processing, and cleansing data, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for our customers.

What you’ll work on:

• Performing data transformations and validations based on customer needs, including data, documents, and financial history.
• Providing excellent customer service throughout the migration process.
• Designing and maintaining automation tools using scripting languages like Python.
• Leading data migrations for Mid Market customers, assisting with presale scoping and timelines, and collaborating with CSM and onboarding teams.
• Engaging with professional services customers to promote migration packages.
• Managing projects end-to-end and contributing to cross-departmental initiatives.
• Communicating effectively with customers and internal teams.
• Contributing to our customer-facing knowledge base.
• Partnering with teams to develop processes around data transformation and training.
• Staying informed about Clio products and workflows.
• Seeking process and technology improvements to enhance customer experience.
• Performing other duties as required.

What you bring:

• Strong customer focus and commitment to delivering exceptional client experience.
• 5+ years of data migration experience.
• 3-5 years of scripting/SQL experience (e.g., Python).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Proactive mindset and creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, sensitive to diverse customer needs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with financial or document migrations, especially in legal tech.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar SaaS tools.
• Experience with API-driven applications.

The salary range for this role is $91,900 to $124,300 CAD, depending on experience and location.
