Job summary

CoStar Group is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join Zonda in Toronto, ON. You will design, build, test, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data products, translating business requirements into robust solutions.

Responsibilities include optimizing data transformations, implementing data quality checks, and collaborating with product management and engineering to deliver observable, governed data assets at scale.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Strong Python and SQL skills for data pipelines.
• Experience with dbt, Airflow, Snowflake, and AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain reliable, scalable data pipelines and data products.
• Develop and optimize data transformations and orchestrations using SQL, Python, dbt, Airflow, Glue, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake.
• Translate business requirements into maintainable technical designs and production‑ready solutions.
• Implement automated testing, data‑quality checks, monitoring, failure handling, and recovery.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Application Engineering and business stakeholders.
