Russell Tobin & Associates is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and support Talend-based data integration solutions for government-related data initiatives. The role requires hands-on development with SDLC/DevOps practices and close collaboration with data engineers, platform admins, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Degree, or Certificate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years designing and developing enterprise data integration with Talend Studio.
• 3+ years Talend Admin: TAC/TMC, deployment, environment management, scheduling.
• 3+ years Talend infrastructure: Remote Engines, Job Servers, performance tuning.
• 2+ years production support for enterprise integration platforms.
• 4+ years SDLC/DevOps: Git, CI/CD, code reviews, release management, QA, governance.
• 1+ year AI tools for code generation, data analysis, workflow automation.
• 6+ years data transformation, cleansing, wrangling with SQL Server.
• 3+ years designing secure RESTful APIs.
• 3+ years messaging (ActiveMQ, Azure Service Bus).
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with Azure data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and support Talend-based data integration solutions.
• Collaborate with data engineers, platform admins, stakeholders, and vendors.
• Support DRAS and expand to other enterprise data initiatives.
• Provide production support including incident management and RCA.
