Job summary

Flare is hiring a data developer to accelerate search capabilities on a platform built with Elasticsearch and PostgreSQL. You will design large-scale distributed data systems, leverage cloud and AI infrastructure, and improve data migrations while maintaining current operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building large-scale data systems.
• Experience with large SQL or Elasticsearch databases.
• Proficiency with Python 3, Flask, JavaScript, VueJS, AWS, RabbitMQ and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design large scale distributed and resilient systems with high complexity to support our big data applications.
• Leverage cloud, database and AI infrastructure to solve such large scale problems.
• Conduct feasibility studies for upgraded software systems.
• Maintain our product’s existing data systems while designing and supporting migrations that enable us to bring it to the next level.
• Design new software programs, data flows, and applications.
• Use and automate new processes to keep a tested and high quality code base.
