Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our Toronto Fraud and AML IT team. The candidate will work on the development and deployment of data pipelines, drive innovation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, software development, and leadership, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions that meet business needs. They will collaborate closely with team members in an Agile Squad, including product owners, architects, business analysts, and quality engineers.
The candidate should have a deep understanding of data management principles, the modern data stack, cloud computing, and the ability to apply these in practical, business-focused contexts. They will partner across IT and with assigned business lines to assess, research, and analyze business, technical, and system needs to resolve business systems issues.
