Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to design and implement tools for automating data collection, transformation, machine learning models, and analytics. The role involves developing agile processes for ongoing software projects. Leadership and mentorship skills are valued, as you will guide junior team members towards senior roles.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recommend tools for automating data and machine learning pipelines
• Design and implement data-driven solutions
• Develop and promote data governance and software best practices
• Design and implement service-oriented solutions
• Design, document, and implement data models
• Mentor and lead junior resources

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or relevant experience
• Strong software development skills, preferably in Python or Java
• 5+ years of SQL experience; NoSQL experience is a plus
• Experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling
• Experience with data processing systems and analytics solutions in Microsoft PowerBI

Nice to Have

• Experience with Apache Airflow or similar workflow management systems
• Experience with Informatica platform
• Knowledge of Yandex Clickhouse or other column-oriented databases
• Leadership experience in building and leading teams
