Job Description

The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior-level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Qualifications:

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in Applications Development or systems analysis roles
• Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications
• Experience managing and implementing successful projects
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development
• Ability to quickly adjust priorities as circumstances dictate
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Required skills:

• Minimum of 6 years of application development experience
• Experience leading a technical team, including hiring, performance management, and talent development
• Solid understanding of application infrastructure, including hardware, storage, network, databases, and disaster recovery procedures
• Working knowledge of Unix, including shell scripting (preferably RedHat Linux)
• Experience with technologies such as:
• AWS Cloud Solutions: Glue, S3, KMS, IAM, Lambda, Amazon SQS
• Programming and Scripting: Python, UNIX/Linux Shell scripting
• XML/XSD/XSLT and JSON
• Modern Source Control, Build, and CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, GitHub, TeamCity, Artifactory, SonarQube, Ansible, Tekton/Harness)
• Experience using JIRA and ServiceNow SaaS
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and innovative skills
• Effective time management to handle multiple priorities and adapt to different time zones and timelines
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven ability to build scalable, mission-critical systems
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
