Job summary

Galent is seeking a senior data engineer to deliver high impact data projects from inception through warranty. You will leverage Snowflake, dbt Core, and AWS to build scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions.

Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Terraform is essential, with strong focus on performance and maintainability. The role requires 10+ years of experience and deep knowledge of Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and AWS ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years delivering data projects from inception to warranty.
• 5 years with Snowflake, dbt Core and AWS cloud technologies.
• 5 years of coding in Python and Java.
• Deep knowledge of Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and Amazon Aurora.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Shell and Terraform with focus on performance, reusability and maintainability.
• Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow) and AWS Managed Airflow.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Extensive Experience 10+ years of professional experience delivering over 10 high impact data projects from inception through warranty
• 5 years of Snowflake dbtCoreCloud and AWS Cloud Technologies
• 5 years of experience with coding in multiple programming languages such as PythonJava
• Deep knowledge of relational databases Snowflake PostgreSQL Amazon Aurora
• Skilled in tools such as Snow sight Streamlit
• Proficiency in SQL Python Shell and Terraform with a strong focus on performance reusability and maintainability
• Presentation Communication Strong technical and business presentation skills able to identify and address gaps in data designs and processes with both internal and external stakeholders
• Pipeline Orchestration Tools Handson experience with orchestration tools like Zena and AWS Managed Airflow
• Resilience Adaptability Proven ability to thrive in fastpaced ambiguous and highpressure environments
• Required Certifications having 2 Or More Is An Asset
