The Global Performance Measurement Team manages performance measurement solutions supporting GFRT partners within Scotiabank across various business lines and finance functions.

The Senior Data Engineer leads cost-effective development, user testing, implementation, and support for GFRT applications. The role involves developing best practices, overseeing projects, ad hoc analysis, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and project manage financial systems initiatives:
   • Manage project plans, develop business cases, gather requirements, design solutions, and facilitate stakeholder acceptance.
   • Champion change management, communication, and training for new or enhanced systems.
2. Identify and evaluate technology solutions for GFRT applications.
3. Manage systems production, administration, and maintenance:
   • Ensure system performance, reliability, and integration.
   • Address system issues and develop efficient processes.
4. Continuously improve processes and services.
5. Collaborate with peers, clients, and vendors on projects.
6. Provide leadership to motivate and develop the team.

Required Skills and Experience:
