Job description

Senior Data Architect to design and implement complex large scale Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Lakehouse and supporting Data Migration and Conversion initiatives

Term: until December 31st plus strong possibility of multiple extensions

MUST HAVES:

• University degree in applied sciences such as Computer Sciences, Systems Design, Engineering, Business or a combination of education, training, and experience deemed equivalent.
• 4+ years of architecture/solution design experience in a modern data lake/warehouse environment with knowledge of data/business vault, star schema, snowflake, and lakehouse methodologies. Experience with operating in Azure ADLS Gen 2, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, Snowflake, or similar environments, and familiarity with SCD Types and usage.
• Excellent knowledge of RDBMS and SQL– Oracle and SQL Server relational databases, and experience in the use of XML, Web Services, and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technologies for application and systems interoperability, including sftp/mft, and event-driven architectures.
