As a senior data and analytics advisor, you play a key role in implementing and developing the data strategy for the marketing, communications and cooperation sectors as well as the office of the president. You make sure that deliverables align with the strategic vision and internal processes. You support use case owners, analyze impacts and needs, and work with parties involved to develop roadmaps. You play an active role in change management and in the updating and disseminating of the data strategy, while ensuring consistency with other sectors. Finally, you follow the business value generated by use cases and contribute to reporting and planning for the data, technology, talent and change management pillars. More specifically, you will be required to:
Support the cohesiveness and development of the strategic data vision, in collaboration with the deputy officer and their team, while updating the vision and communicating it to parties involved
Support use case sponsors in the executive division to analyze the impacts, dependencies and capacities needed to carry out use cases
Contribute to the roadmaps and advancement of data and analytics initiatives with all parties involved
Actively collaborate with technical parties (architects, data engineers, ITteams) to ensure seamless integration of use cases into the Desjardins Group data platform
Leverage your knowledge of cloud computing environments and architectural principles to facilitate discussions with ITteams and support the feasibility assessment of proposed solutions
Help identify the objectives and organizational value of analytics initiatives
Update the use case backlog, and ensure compliance with the processes established by the core team and the executive division
Contribute to change management and cross-sector coordination by promoting alignment with the business sectors and support functions involved in the data strategy
Participate in reports and requests from the chief data officer for the data, technology, talent and change management pillars
Work closely with use case managers, project managers and monitoring committees to ensure strategic alignment, tracking and achievement of expected benefits
Monitor and measure the business value generated by use cases to show the real impact on the organization

What you bring to the table
Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of sixyears of relevant experience
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Experience implementing strategic initiatives and monitoring their operationalization
Knowledge of French is required
Expertise in data and analytics
Solid understanding of data architecture concepts, with the ability to explain technical issues in plain language to diverse audiences
Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP,etc.) and the ability to collaborate effectively with ITteams
