Job Summary

At the Centre for Advanced Analytics, Data Science, and Innovation (CAADSI) of Fraser Health, we are seeking a Senior Data Analyst. Reporting to the Director, Analytics, you will develop and maintain innovative analytical solutions to meet organizational needs and ensure the technical infrastructure's development and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, process, evaluate, and review information, providing insights and recommendations.
• Serve as a senior analytical resource, offering expertise in quality and performance measurement, evaluation, and emerging analytics trends.
• Optimize reporting procedures, explore automation, reduce redundancies, and ensure analytic products offer actionable insights.
• Recommend standards for database architecture, define metadata, and establish ETL requirements and standards.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer among technical staff during development of decision support applications.
• Partner with clients to understand analytical needs and develop solutions.
• Provide detailed data narratives, identify key issues, and forecast trends for stakeholders.
• Coordinate data exchange with various agencies and external groups.
• Manage analytics projects, including planning, monitoring, and evaluation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field.
• At least 5 years of experience in decision support, data analysis, healthcare management, and managing technical projects.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (Power BI preferred).

This role is based at our Central City office in Surrey, BC, with a hybrid work model (2x/week in-office).
