Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in network security or information security.
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science or related field.

Contribute to the success of the global Cyber Threat Intelligence function by executing specific goals, plans, and initiatives aligned with the team’s business strategies. Ensure all activities comply with regulations, policies, and procedures.

Role Responsibilities:
  1. Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  2. Conduct research and analyze emerging cybersecurity threats, assessing potential impacts on the bank.
  3. Create quality technical papers documenting security threats, risks, and mitigation techniques.
  4. Support initiatives providing security-focused recommendations based on intelligence findings.
  5. Communicate situational awareness and technical intelligence effectively to stakeholders and partners.
  6. Consider the bank’s risk appetite and culture in daily activities and decisions.
  7. Ensure effective operations in accordance with bank values, conduct, and business controls, including compliance, AML/ATF, sanctions, and conduct risk.
  8. Promote a high-performance, inclusive work environment.
Ideal Candidate Skills:
  1. Advanced communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.
  2. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in network security, information security, or network support.
  3. Ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
  4. Knowledge of network principles, cybersecurity concepts, investigation procedures, and adversary tactics.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Experience evaluating and sharing Indicators of Compromise (IoCs), Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
  7. Familiarity with security controls such as IDS, IPS, SIEM, Web Content Filtering.
  8. Excellent presentation skills for technical and executive audiences.
  9. Broad knowledge of cyber adversaries, attack vectors, and attacker tools.
  10. Ability to analyze data, document results, and prepare reports and briefings.
  11. Post-secondary education in Computer Science or related field.
  12. Security certifications (e.g., GSEC, Security+, CCNA, CEH, OSCP) are assets.
