Our client is in an exciting growth phase. They have extensive, growing needs for their data center used for cryptocurrency mining and generative AI. In addition, they are also expanding their product offerings. This newly created Senior Cybersecurity Operations Analyst role will help ensure our client’s environment is secure and resilient amid an ever-changing threat landscape.

Our client is committed to an environmentally responsible approach to powering technology. They have developed state-of-the-art data centers powered entirely by renewable energy. Now, they are enhancing their software suite, leveraging AI to maximize the efficiency and capabilities of these data centers.

This hybrid role is based in downtown Vancouver. Hybrid arrangement is 1 – 3 days per week on-site. They have a start-up culture that values inclusiveness and a proactive approach to overcoming new challenges.

You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

• Senior level experience as a cybersecurity analyst, preferably from a Security Operations Centre (SOC) environment.
• Experience in both hands-on operational security plus policy, procedure, and compliance work.
• Strong experience with Microsoft security products: Defender for Endpoint, Sentinel (SIEM), EntraID, and Microsoft 365 Compliance and Security.
• Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, or similar.
• Scripting languages such as Python or Javascript. Very nice-to-have: PowerShell.
• Must be ready to navigate the challenges of a start-up environment, focusing on finding solutions rather than just identifying problems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• $120,000 to $135,000 + competitive incentive program.
