Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on security best practices, regulatory compliance (e.g., POPIA, GDPR), and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Assist clients in developing and maturing their security programs, including policy development, incident response planning, and security awareness initiatives.
• Provide expert guidance on security technologies, architecture, and implementation.
• Manage client relationships and projects, ensuring successful delivery of consulting engagements.
• Stay informed about current and emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality reports, presentations, and recommendations to client stakeholders.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the development of the consulting practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Business, or a related field.
• Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with significant experience in a consulting or advisory role.
• Proven track record in conducting security assessments, risk management, and developing security strategies.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, compliance regulations, and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of various security domains, including network security, application security, cloud security, and data protection.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Exceptional client-facing, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, or CGEIT are highly desirable.
