Job summary

Aritzia is seeking a Senior Architect/Architect, Cybersecurity to define secure architectures and reusable patterns across retail, eCommerce, cloud, and on‑prem environments. You will guide risk assessment, establish security requirements, and ensure alignment with business goals and regulatory demands.

This role works across Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and hybrid setups, supporting a fast‑growing enterprise with a global footprint.

Qualifications

• Experience creating secure design patterns and reference architectures adopted in practice.
• Strong knowledge of application and API security, identity architecture, cloud architecture, data protection.
• Experience performing threat modeling and communicating risk to technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience with retail and/or e-commerce security architecture, particularly payments and POS.
• Practical experience with CI/CD and software supply chain security.

Responsibilities

• Create secure architectures for retail and e-commerce capabilities across identity, apps, APIs, integrations, and payments.
• Lead security architecture reviews, define trust boundaries, and set implementable security requirements.
• Perform threat modeling to identify risks and attack paths across connected systems.
• Translate PCI DSS and other compliance requirements into architecture decisions and controls.
• Document architecture decisions and drive adoption of approved security patterns.
