Job summary

Intelcom is seeking a strategic cybersecurity leader to guide information security across its Dragonfly operations. The role covers planning, configuring and operationalizing security tools, managing cross‑functional projects, and driving standardization of security practices.

You will mentor staff and coordinate remediation with multiple teams. The ideal candidate brings 10–15 years as a SysAdmin and 5–8 years in security administration, with deep hands-on expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure,

Qualifications

• 10 to 15 years of experience as a Systems Administrator.
• 5 to 8 years of experience as a Security Administrator.
• Expertise with Microsoft 365 suite, Entra, Intune and Active Directory.
• Strong Azure security experience (Defender, Sentinel, DLP).
• Proven track record leading complex security or infrastructure projects.
• Experience hardening Linux and Windows servers, workstations, and mobile devices.
• Extensive use of multiple cybersecurity tools and platforms.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, threat intel, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Plan, setup, configure and operationalize cybersecurity tools and services.
• Oversee, lead and manage complex cybersecurity projects and initiatives.
• Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper security measures are taken.
• Lead or assist various stakeholders with vulnerability remediation.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity team to proactively address high-priority issues.
• Assist with the handling complex security incidents and forensic investigations.
• Conduct advanced threat analysis and provide expert-level guidance to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
• Optimize and automate cybersecurity tasks and services.
• Mentor junior staff members and lead training sessions.
• Assist with other System Administrator level tasks.

Qualifications

• 10 to 15 years of experience as a SysAdmin.
• 5 to 8 years of experience as a Security Administrator.
• Mastery of the Microsoft 365 suite, Entra, Intune, and Active Directory.
• Mastery of the Azure Security platform (Defender, Sentinel, Pureview, DLP).
• Demonstrated experience leading complex security or infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing and hardening Linux and Windows Servers, Windows and Mac workstations and mobile platforms.
• Wide experience using and configuring various cybersecurity tools.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity frameworks.
• Good experience with threat intelligence and incident response.Good knowledge of networking (CCNA or Network+ certification is a plus).
• Good knowledge of virtualization and containerization.
• Good programming/scripting skills (Ex.: Python, Powershell).
• Experienced with multiple SIEM and EDR systems.
• Strong ability to design and architect secure systems and networks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong holistic approach (human and technical).
• Ability to plan and coordinate change across multiple teams and the organization.
• Team player and cooperative.
• Being flexible and proactive.
• Bilingual (Mastery of one or both English and/or French).
