Job summary

Mecka is hiring a computer vision engineer to own the classical 3D geometry, temporal filtering, and inverse kinematics for delivering calibrated spatial data. You will work closely with research teams and become the go-to expert for classical CV tasks across the pipeline.

The role focuses on the 3D hands pipeline first, expanding to broader CV challenges. You will implement robust filtering, calibration, and visualization tools in production Python and C++ where needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering and computer vision experience.
• Strong software engineering: coding-heavy role with production Python (C++ a plus).
• Solid multi-view geometry: triangulation, PnP, calibration, reprojection.
• Temporal filtering and signal processing: low-pass, Kalman-family, interpolation.
• Inverse kinematics and rigid-body/bone-length constraints on articulated structures.
• Experience with deep models outputs/failure modes without training them.

Responsibilities

• Own the classical 3D geometry and place reconstructions in space (multi-view geometry, triangulation, PnP, calibration, undistortion, reprojection).
• Design and tune temporal filters to reduce jitter without losing real motion.
• Run inverse kinematics and enforce physical constraints to keep reconstructed skeletons valid.
• Translate model output into clean delivered data, including per-frame results, QA metrics, and scalable pipelines.
• Build visualizers and dashboards to inspect trajectories and failure cases.
• Be the go-to engineer for classical computer-vision problems across the pipeline.
