Who We Are Looking For
Clever is seeking a Senior Creative Strategist to own and lead CDM’s creative strategy for Paid Social, ensuring every creative asset is grounded in performance insights, aligned with testing frameworks, and built to scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the creative testing roadmap across Paid Social, ensuring consistent delivery of winning creatives.
- Write detailed creative briefs for designers and editors, including hooks, storytelling structures, CTAs, and inspiration.
- Source, script, and oversee UGC production, ensuring content aligns with direct response principles.
- Conduct competitor research using TikTok/Meta Ad Libraries and build a trend bank of winning creative styles.
- Partner with media buyers to align creative testing with scaling objectives and campaign performance.
- Collaborate with CRO to ensure ad messaging is consistent across the funnel.
- Review and QA all creatives before launch to ensure alignment with performance strategy.
- Translate creative performance data (CTR, Hook Rate, CPL) into actionable insights and new iterations.
- Document learnings into frameworks, playbooks, and repeatable processes that scale across pods.
- Champion innovation by testing new ad formats, angles, and AI-driven creative tools.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Requirements
- 5+ years in performance-driven creative strategy, with deep experience in Meta & TikTok advertising.
- Proven ability to analyze creative performance data and translate into strategy (CTR, Hook Rate, CPL).
- Strong experience writing and managing creative briefs.
- Skilled in UGC and direct response ad formats, especially short-form video storytelling.
- Highly collaborative, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with: Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Motion, Looker Studio, Asana, Slack.
- Familiarity with CRO and landing page optimization.
- Hands on experience in meta campaign management
- Hands-on skills with Adobe Premiere, CapCut, or similar tools.
- Experience using AI-driven creative tools for scripting or iterations.
- Background in home improvement or high-ticket lead generation industries.
