Join us as a Senior Creative Designer in St. Bruno and become part of a team of passionate individuals dedicated to innovation! In this position, you will design innovative and attractive mobility solutions for sustainable mobility users worldwide.

In this position, you will:

• Ensure proposed design solutions embody Alstom’s DNA and Perceived Quality values.
• Communicate design proposals and solutions effectively using techniques such as sketches, renderings, Alias Models, and specification documents.
• Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Work with external partners.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of A&C&D processes.
• Successfully complete bid and delivery projects through timely achievement of deliverables.
• Stay updated on technological developments to enhance Alstom’s mobility solutions.
• Define design tasks for operational teams (internal or external).
• Coordinate with the Workload Manager for staffing the design teams appropriately.
• Follow up on design projects respecting specifications, deadlines, and budgets.
• Participate in internal validation processes for tender or project design reviews with customers and management.
• Ensure the quality of internal and external design outputs according to project needs and standards.
• Research cultural, trend, and long-term tendencies relevant to C&T.
• Manage suppliers responsible for producing primary samples.
• Archive completed projects and materials for future use.

Our ideal candidate:

• Holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design.
• Has over 10 years of experience in a multifunctional engineering environment delivering complex technical solutions.
• Has more than 5 years’ experience in rolling stock design.
• Has experience with software such as Alias, VRED, Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Can contribute product design thinking and skills within multifunctional engineering teams.
• Can solve complex problems and present innovative solutions.
• Possesses a solid understanding of design processes.
• Can communicate design proposals effectively across various mediums and techniques.
• Has excellent French and English communication skills, both written and spoken.
