The senior creative content copywriter is a key player in crafting compelling and persuasive content that drives engagement and supports the marketing strategies of our health-focused clients. As a member of the Copywriting/Strategy team, they also collaborate closely with the Creative and Client Services teams to produce high-quality written materials across various platforms.

They focus their efforts on medical devices, “over the counter” products, patient education, and direct-to-consumer type of projects and ensure a continued participation and production as a strategic copywriter, and as a mentor to junior members of the writing team. They are implicated in the preparation for and presentation of client pitch meetings.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional creative copywriting experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing work in health marketing or related fields
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Literature, Marketing, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees or certifications in health communication are a plus
  • Proven track record of creating successful marketing campaigns for health-related clients
  • Experience working in a health marketing agency or with health and wellness brands
  • Experience with the ASC and PAAB review processes
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed content decisions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience speaking to consumer audiences for Canadian clients
  • Experience in veterinary medicine content is a plus
