We are looking for a collaborative litigator with solid judgment and interpersonal skills to join our Canadian Legal Team in the role of Litigation Senior Counsel. You can work from Vancouver, Edmonton or Calgary, with the flexibility to split your time between home and office. It will involve travel for file related matters.

What you will do
  • Directly manage a large caseload of insurance claims cases (primarily life and disability) as counsel of record
  • Litigate routine aspects of cases including discoveries, mediations and motions
  • Contribute as needed to litigation team projects and initiatives involving other teams and stakeholders while managing day-to-day aspects of file work
  • Give clear and concise advice to business partners and colleagues on litigated and non-litigated matters
