This role involves providing legal support to functional and business partners, managing employment law disputes, and ensuring compliance with statutory employment laws. Candidates should possess over 7 years of legal experience, a Bachelor of Law, and an ability to balance various priorities. As a Senior Legal Counsel, Canadian Employment Law, you will be part of the Global and the Canadian and Caribbean Employment Law Teams and provide employment law support to functional and business partners across the enterprise for Canada. Employment law issues include common law and statutory employment laws, hiring, immigration, compensation, benefits, advice about single and group reductions in workforce, as well as privacy, disability (insurance) and human rights.
