The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in cost accounting, preferably within manufacturing. This role requires collaboration with various teams to ensure accurate inventory valuation and reporting.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in manufacturing or seafood.
- Actively working toward CPA certification.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inventory evaluations at month-end, quarter-end, and year-end.
- Maintain accurate records of supply inventory and ensure correct valuation.
- Collaborate with production, shipping, and receiving teams.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Conduct inventory evaluations at month-end, quarter-end, and year-end.
Maintain accurate records of supply inventory and ensure correct valuation.
Collaborate with production, shipping, and receiving teams to streamline cost tracking.
Perform frequent inventory counts to verify accuracy.
Assist IT and company leadership in completing the inventory module in the ERP system.
Provide financial reporting and cost analysis, primarily focused on inventory valuation.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
2+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or seafood industry.
CPA, CMA, or CGA designation, or actively working toward CPA certification.
Strong Excel skills, with the ability to manage and analyze large datasets.
Understanding of IT systems and data flows related to cost tracking.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
