Senior Cost Accounant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Senior Cost Accountant to support our operations by managing financial processes, analyzing cost structures, and driving efficiency. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy, optimize inventory valuation, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain accurate inventory valuation through detailed costing analysis and cycle count tracking.
2. Oversee cost accounting transactions to ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal financial policies.
3. Assist in preparing financial forecasts, budgets, and operating plans in collaboration with leadership.
4. Analyze and report on profit margins, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
5. Work closely with operations management to track cost reduction initiatives and efficiency improvements.
6. Support the development of product line profit and loss (P&L) statements.
7. Periodically update standard costs and job costs in alignment with company policies.
8. Contribute to the financial evaluation of major business quotes and pricing strategies.
9. Provide accounting support for inventory optimization and reduction programs.
10. Assist in ERP system evaluations and upgrades to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.
11. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
