Job Description

Join SSENSE as a Senior Corporate Accountant and leverage your analytical acumen in a fast-paced environment! Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be a pillar for business partners, providing strategic financial support and actively contributing to the evolution of our practices. What You Will Do :

Analytical and Strategic Support : You will provide in-depth analytical support to business partners by monitoring expenses, identifying key trends, and proposing solutions based on complex financial data. Your insights will help guide decisions and ensure the achievement of objectives.

Interdepartmental Collaboration : You will collaborate closely with other departments (mainlyOperations teams) to ensure liaison and share information to formulate holistic recommendations for stakeholders. Your ability to solve complex problems will significantly impact various teams.

Reporting and Monthly Close Management : You will drive monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial data across our various systems. You will produce essential accounting reports, actively contributing to month-end close processes and audits.

Process Optimization : You will play a key role in the continuous improvement of our operations. By evaluating internal controls and proposing streamlined procedures, you will contribute to maximizing the efficiency and accuracy of our accounting processes.

Qualifications

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Holda professional designation (CPA / CA, CGA, CMA).

A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting, including experience in inventory accounting and anin-depth knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

Advanced proficiency in Excel.

Excellent written and oral skills of both French and English. French is required as it is the language in the Quebec province.
