Job summary

Choice Properties is seeking a Senior HR Coordinator to support the HR team on an 18‑month contract in Toronto. The role covers HR processes, payroll support, recruitment, onboarding and program implementation, with a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of HR experience, post-secondary HR education (HR Certification preferred) and strong MS Office skills. Fluency in English and French is a plus, with a focus on data accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education preferably in Human Resources and obtained (or working towards) HR Management Certification.
  • 3-5 years progressive HR experience, coordinating departmental programs and initiatives is a definite asset.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong integrity with demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and manage highly sensitive information.
  • Solid MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer focused with ability to nurture positive relationships.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

  • Front line representative for colleagues' questions or concerns.
  • Coordinate and support key annual HR processes including Performance and Compensation and Engagement Survey.
  • Responsible for HRIS (Workday) data management and best practices in leveraging the tool.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to support end-to-end recruitment and onboarding.
  • Provide guidance on employment policies, recruitment, training and benefits administration.
  • Support rollout and adoption of HR programs and HR technology.
  • Lead generation of people metrics (headcount, turnover).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for internal compliance audits.
  • Resolve sensitive colleague issues and escalate to HRBP as required.
  • Coordinate training sessions, meetings, room setup and materials.
  • Ensure legal compliance with federal and provincial requirements.
  • Coordinate leave of absence and accommodations with internal teams.
  • Resolve payroll inquiries as required.
  • Assist with research, analysis and implementation of programs and projects.
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Overview

Choice Properties is looking for a Senior Human Resource (HR) Coordinator to join our team for an 18-month contract! The Senior Human Resources Coordinator will support theHuman Resources teamby coordinating and following through on various Human Resources activities and projects including Company-wide Human Resources programs/initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Front line representative forcolleague'squestions or concerns.
  • Coordinate and support key annual HR processes including Performance and CompensationandEngagement Survey.
  • Responsible for the effective application of HRIS (Workday) ensuringaccuratedata management and promoting ongoing best practices inleveragingtool.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to support a smooth end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Provide guidance,directionand advice to the clientregardingemployment related issues including but not limited to the interpretation of company policies & procedures, recruitment, training &developmentandbenefitsadministration.

  • Assistthe teamwith research, analysis and implementation of programs,reportsand projects asrequired.
