Position: Senior Controls Engineer

Location: Pickering, ON

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)

Industry: Manufacturing / Electrical Engineer / Controls & Automation / Industrial

Employment Term: Fulltime / Permanent

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, programming, and commissioning of automation and control system.
• Prepare and review technical design documentation.
• Program and commission PLC and HMI systems and build systems from the ground up for turnkey solutions.
• Monitor project progress to maintain timelines and budgets.
• Provide technical support to client’s post-installation.
• Mentor Junior team members and engineers.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Post-secondary degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5 – 7 years related Controls Engineer experience, preferably in an Automation environment.
• Hands-on experience with PLC/HMI systems, instrumentation, and SCADA
• Experience designing complex systems
• Experience in programming and troubleshooting PLCs an asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to travel to customer sites as needed.
