Job Opportunity : Senior Contracts Specialist

Location : Downtown Toronto

Work Arrangement : 4 days in-office, 1 day remote

Salary : $110,000 - $130,000 CAD, plus performance-based bonus and benefits (including RRSP matching).

Our client, a leading architecture firm, seeks an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to manage contracts for $30M-$70M CAD projects, focusing on institutional builds like hospitals, daycare facilities, schools, and Long-Term Care projects. Reporting to the Principal, you'll leverage expertise with CCDC-2 contracts and government agency processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer CCDC-2 contracts and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Manage institutional projects and navigate government requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate contract risks.
  • Oversee contract documentation and project timelines.
  • Independently manage Contract Administration during the construction phase of multiple school and Long-Term Care construction projects.
  • Represent the firm to Owners and Contractors, requiring strong subject-matter expertise and confidence in contract management.

Qualifications

  • Experience in similar roles with $30M-$70M CAD projects.
  • Strong knowledge of CCDC-2 contracts.
  • Institutional project experience (hospitals, daycare facilities, schools, Long-Term Care projects).
  • Familiarity with government processes.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to independently handle multiple construction projects and effectively manage contract administration.
