The Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC) seeks a Senior Contract Manager to oversee the life cycle of complex post‑award contracts between Canadian exporters and foreign buyers. Based in Ottawa with a hybrid work model, you will report to the Manager, Contract Management.

You will manage terms, costs, schedules and performance obligations; lead negotiations; advise exporters on risks; update financials; and represent CCC at external events to support Canada’s international contracting efforts.

Qualifications

• Completion of a post-secondary education in commerce or business administration.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in contracting and financial management.
• Knowledge of contract management in domestic and international contexts.
• Knowledge of stakeholder relationship management including business development.
• Knowledge of office productivity software and databases.
• Knowledge of governing legislation, regulations, and guidelines.
• English Essential with fluency in other languages recommended.

Responsabilités

• Manages moderate to high complexity contract lifecycle from award to close, including terms, cost, schedule and performance obligations.
• Provides input to business development on contract structuring.
• Leads meetings with exporters and buyers to support negotiations and issue resolution.
• Advises exporters to support success in pursuits and delivery.
• Updates project financials to track progress and identify risks, and develops mitigation plans.
• Conducts site visits and representing CCC at external events to support delivery and outreach.
• Leads assessment and mitigation of contract risks and issues for complex procurements.
• Performs analysis of contract risks and recommends mitigation approaches.
