Job summary

CNL is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator at its Chalk River site to lead pre- and post-contract activities, manage complex procurement relationships, and ensure successful delivery on large projects.

The role demands extensive contract management experience, strong negotiation and leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with legal, finance, and technical teams. Hybrid work arrangement in Chalk River, Ontario.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of contract management, law, and procurement practices for complex procurements.
• Experience with customer service, negotiation, and dispute resolution.
• Experience in regulated or nuclear environments is an asset.
• Ability to interpret scopes of work, drawings, and technical specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract administration between CNL and contractors across pre- and post-contract phases.
• Oversee compliance, deliverables, and supplier documentation per procedures.
• Coordinate kickoff and progress meetings; manage change control and funding.
• Monitor contract performance, including cost, schedule, quality, and metrics.
• Lead process improvements and share lessons learned.
