Responsibilities
- Lead content strategy and roadmap: Own the content roadmap, deciding what we create, update, and optimize across channels based on performance data, business goals, and audience needs. Extend stories across editorial, podcasts, newsletters, video, social, and events—repurposing content for maximum impact. Evolve our editorial methodology to ensure every piece aligns with our mission to help readers future-proof their organizations. Ground decisions in SEO, user feedback, competitive research, data sources, and emerging audience needs—especially around AI and the future of project delivery.
- Elevate content quality and innovation: Oversee site-wide content quality and clarity, contribute first-person content on high-priority topics, participate in interviews, podcasts, and digital PR, and scale new formats—interactive tools, visual storytelling, surveys, and beyond—to engage readers.
- Embed and scale AI-powered content systems: Work with content operations to integrate AI across the content workflow and coach editors to participate in earned media and thought leadership opportunities in partnership with the Digital PR Lead.
- Grow a high-performing content team: Manage editors and contributors, provide editorial development and career support, and foster a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and experimentation at the intersection of AI and content leadership.
Qualifications
- A cross-channel content strategist with a track record of scaling programs and leading high-performing teams across newsletters, podcasts, events, social, and video.
- An AI enthusiast who tests, applies, and shares insights on how AI reshapes content, leadership, and the future of work.
- A subject-matter expert in leadership and organizational design with understanding of executives’ and people leaders’ challenges.
- Experience integrating AI across workflows to balance scale, efficiency, and thoughtful human strategy.
- Reader-obsessed leader who experiments with interactive tools, surveys, and video storytelling; hands-on contributor who interviews executives and tests tools.
- Collaborative partner capable of aligning content with SEO, product marketing, events, and partnerships to build trust and authority.
- Strong cross-functional communication and project management skills; comfortable with GA4, Ahrefs, WordPress, and Airtable.
- Curiosity about future trends in organizational leadership and a passion for helping others adapt and thrive.
Nice to have
- Experience contributing expert commentary or appearing in thought leadership content.
- Familiarity with PR / media collaboration and working with outreach or communications teams.
- Background in content UX, accessibility, or conversion-oriented design for content.
Salary and location
This full-time position is available as a remote role with the option to use our office in Vancouver, BC if you live locally. The role offers an annual base salary in the range of CA$140,000 to CA$180,000. The range is a guide for new hires in Canada. Seniority level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and evaluation of qualifications and market data. In addition to base salary, full-time employees are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
