Salary : $100,000 to $150,000 CAD per annum

Responsibilities

Project Controls

  • Implement program and project control methodologies.
  • Establish the baselines and performance manage the baseline.
  • Analyze project schedules, assess and document project impacts.
  • Verify contract requirements including payment milestones.
  • Work with internal and external groups to coordinate, obtain and verify information.
  • Review and analyze various project reports, contracts, deliverables and provide recommendations.
  • Compile and provide consolidated monthly reports, with an aim for continuous improvement.

Digital Reporting

  • Function as a digital transformation advisor and guide digital adoption.
  • Develop and implement digitalization strategies for project controls.
  • Develop, maintain and optimize Power BI dashboards.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of databases for project controls.
  • Integrate Power BI with existing systems and platforms for seamless reporting.
  • Lead the delivery of user-friendly digital solutions using data analytics and visualization.
Qualifications

Project Control Skills :

  • Minimum 5 years experience in project controls, with a background in construction, energy, infrastructure and or industrial projects.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • An ability to engage and collaborate with a diverse audience.

Digital Reporting Skills :

  • Minimum 3 years experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools or in a data-specific role.
  • Proven ability to lead digital initiatives and drive technology adoption.
  • Proven experience developing Power BI reports for construction projects.
  • Experience designing data models from various sources (SQL, Oracle, Primavera P6, SharePoint, ERP, PMIS).
  • Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and implementing Row-Level Security (RLS).

Education :

  • University degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, and or Project Management.

Must be willing to be on client site or in the office 4 days per week.
