A financial institution is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and build resilient people-data infrastructure. You will work with analytics teams to create data models and optimize processes using your expertise in Python and SQL. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in data engineering and a strong understanding of privacy and compliance. This temporary role is based in Toronto and offers a hybrid work arrangement.

As a Senior Data Engineer within CIBC’s People Data & Analytics team, you will design and build a resilient, consistent and observable people-data infrastructure that accelerates our modernization journey. You’ll translate complex HR data into well-governed, privacy-first assets that empower analysts, data scientists and business partners across the bank. Your work will enable faster insights, stronger decisions and a better employee experience.
