Description

Create awesome experiences for our customers.

Join our team

We’re looking for bright people who like solving big problems. As an integral part of the P&C Operations team, you’ll tackle all kinds - and solve them end to end. We’re just as passionate about our team as we are about our customers and we’re looking for people that radiate this passion. We are on a quest to create the ultimate team member experience.

Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together

As the Senior Consultant, you will be working in partnership with cross-functional teams and leaders on key processes that maximize operational efficiency and make a positive impact on team member experience. More specifically, you will act as the business process owner of Organizational Management, in our evolving Success Factors (internal: TeamHub) environment, providing thought leadership and technical expertise to all internal and external users.

You will have the opportunity to partner, network and influence at all levels across the TELUS team to deliver an effective architecture of the system supporting how organizational data affects job profiles, compensation and other critical team member data. While you will be a part of a team delivering operational readiness projects, you will also be responsible for identifying and driving transformative and strategic change for the entire P&C team.

Here's how

  • Act as the business process owner and prime for Organizational Management activities at TELUS
  • Lead transformational initiatives to advance our business readiness capabilities and developing our organizational agility
  • Build and deliver training to business owners to ensure change requests are aligned with strategic direction of the organization
  • Oversee and support all system readiness deliverables from a P&C Ops perspective, including testing, defect and release management with other stakeholders and external consultants
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve internal processes to drive efficiency and maximize team member engagement
  • Represent the team member experience through influencing decision-making & program recommendations to drive optimal outcomes and support the TELUS team
  • Build strong relationships with internal cross-functional partners to ensure we are delivering the optimal experience
Qualifications

You're the missing piece of the puzzle

  • You have extensive experience supporting Organizational data in large organizations, ideally certified in SuccessFactors Employee Central
  • Presents an analytical and creative mindset. You thrive at solving problems and making sound decisions under pressure
  • Proven track record in managing and liaising with other business functions (e.g. Finance) to ensure OM data is properly managed, maintained and used in an effective and efficient manner
  • Experience working in complex, ever-evolving HRIS environments and/or HRIS projects to achieve maximum efficiency with OM data
  • Demonstrated proficiency working with SAP HCM data and data migration
  • Hold a “bigger picture” mentality when it comes to HRIS solutions. You will have experience mapping data, systems and processes to achieve maximum efficiencies
  • Solid understanding of HR processes, policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of change management methodology

Great-to-haves

  • CHRP Designation

Salary Range: $102,000 - $152,000

Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance, and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:

  • Comprehensive total rewards package highlighting competitive salary and bonus structures, minimum 3 weeks of vacation, and flexible benefits plan to meet the needs of you and your family
  • Flexibility to work in-office, virtually, or a combination of both
  • Generous company matched pension and share purchase programs
  • Opportunity to give back to communities in which we work, live and serve
  • Career growth and learning & development opportunities to develop your skills
